Thompson Playa Del Carmen Main House, by Hyatt

Fantastic location right in the middle of a very busy area in Playa. The rooftop pool was so much fun and the staff were terrific and so helpful. The food we ate both at pool for lunch and also breakfast was very tasty and fresh. We enjoyed the pool the most (it was super hot so it was a relief). The music and whole vibe was really fun also.

First of all - the staff were all amazing - helpful, super friendly. Lazarus, Sara and the rest of the breakfast team. Maria and her colleagues at reception and Joaquin and the bar staff. The breakfast was really good too - although maybe having 2 options in the included breakfast would be good so you can alternate when you stay a week?

It’s really central ! I just have to mention one particular staff member named Marisel ! She was amazing so helpful we really needed a hand with certain things and she just made everything so easy and relieved so much stress for us ! If I ever go back to playa del Carmen I’ll stay at the Thompson purely the fact that I know she will be there !

We did not have dining included. The location and establishment was awesome! right in the heart of shopping, food, and steps away from the nightlife.

it is a beautiful building inside and very spacious. the rooms are massive and just give you plenty of space to have stuff out of your bags without feeling cluttered. the design is beautiful and the rooftop pool and restaurants are set up so well… everything is gorgeous!
