Beaches in playa are not that exciting anyways so it doesnt matter it doesnt have a private beach. in addition, you can freely go to the beach club of their twin hotel at the beach. The pool is fun. Lots of activities, Yoga was aewsome. Room was spacious, comfortable, and very quiet despite the noise outside.

Fantastic location right in the middle of a very busy area in Playa. The rooftop pool was so much fun and the staff were terrific and so helpful. The food we ate both at pool for lunch and also breakfast was very tasty and fresh. We enjoyed the pool the most (it was super hot so it was a relief). The music and whole vibe was really fun also.

It’s really central ! I just have to mention one particular staff member named Marisel ! She was amazing so helpful we really needed a hand with certain things and she just made everything so easy and relieved so much stress for us ! If I ever go back to playa del Carmen I’ll stay at the Thompson purely the fact that I know she will be there !
